Detailed Information on 54 Communes and 1 Special Zone of Ho Chi Minh City
According to Resolution No. 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, after the administrative reorganization, Ho Chi Minh City has 168 administrative units at the commune level, including 113 wards, 54 communes, and 1 special zone. Among these are 112 wards, 50 communes, and 1 special zone formed after the reorganization according to the provisions of this Article. There are also 5 commune-level administrative units not undergoing reorganization, including Thoi Hoa Ward, and Long Son, Hoa Hiep, Binh Chau, and Thanh An Communes.
