After 4 days of jubilant discovery, the 19th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2023 with the theme “Vibrant Crossroads“ associated with the program message “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City” has officially ended to the excitement of residents, visitors, and businesses

128 booths, of which 45 provinces and cities, 54 tourism and Travel businesses and other units…The Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2023 has opened up many interesting things for people and visitors. Both domestically and abroad, you can discover, experience, and prepare yourself for the most attractive and interesting gifts during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 and the upcoming summer. The organizing committee awarded 22 awards for standard and self-built booths, creating excitement in the units. The first prize for the self-built pavilion belongs to the Northwest Cluster, and the standard type of stall belongs to Dong Thap Tourism Promotion Center.
105 billion VND in revenue from businesses participating in the festival (VND 66 billion in 2022), the city’s tourism Industry expects tourists in the summer peak season to peak in terms of domestic and international tourists.
The event attracted more than 190,000 visitors (an increase of more than 40,000 visitors compared to 2022) to visit, interact, and enjoy art shows in the space of 23/9 Park, such as: contemporary music, acoustic, performing on stilts, painting pebble art, workshops on drawing on bags, drawing ao dai on paper, rice paintings, intangible cultural performances, a carnival map game, cultural exchange programs, tourist destinations between provinces, tourism businesses for visitors to the festival… Besides, it also attracts 2,000 – 10,000 people to make a special edition. “Map of Vietnam” is equal to 100,000 toothpicks in the set of “Vietnamese Souls” with the message: CONNECTED – PROUD – LOVE – The work is expected to register a world record with the following criteria: First, a map is impressed by the world’s most crowded participants; Second, a toothpick map of Vietnam is recorded by the largest artwork in the world.
